Old Speckled Hen

An iconic English beer, created in 1979 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the historic MG car factory in Abingdon. It has a deep amber color with copper highlights and a creamy, persistent ivory head. The nose reveals aromas of caramelized malt, biscuit, toffee, and dried fruit, accompanied by light floral and herbaceous notes from the hops. On the palate, it is smooth and rounded, with a medium body, enveloping malty sweetness, and a dry, delicately bitter finish that enhances its drinkability. A traditional and refined bitter, perfect as a pub companion.
