A unique and refined Belgian beer, produced by Brouwerij Verhaeghe in West Flanders. It is a typical Flemish Red Ale, aged in oak barrels, giving it a vinous and complex character. It has a deep ruby red color with brown highlights and a fine ivory head. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of red fruit, balsamic vinegar, wood, vanilla, and light caramel notes. On the palate, it is smooth and lively, with elegant acidity, fruity sweetness, hints of wood, and a fresh, harmonious, and persistent finish. A beer of great charm, often referred to as the "wine of Flanders."
