Black Sheep Riggwelter

A full-bodied and distinctive English ale, brewed by the Black Sheep brewery in Yorkshire. The name "Riggwelter" comes from a dialect term describing a sheep rolled onto its back, symbolizing this ale's strength. It features a deep brown color with ruby highlights and a creamy cappuccino-colored head. On the nose, intense aromas of roasted malt, caramel, licorice, dried fruit, and light smoky notes emerge. On the palate, it is rich and complex, with a full body, enveloping malty sweetness, toasted nuances, and a long, warming finish. A typically British strong ale, robust and satisfying.
