Erdinger Pikantus

A dark, full-bodied wheat beer, brewed by Erdinger Weissbräu as a Weizenbock-style interpretation. It has a deep brown color with mahogany highlights and a generous, creamy, cappuccino-colored head. The nose reveals rich aromas of ripe banana, dried plum, toasted malt, chocolate, and a delicate hint of clove spice. On the palate, it is smooth and powerful, with a full body, elegant malty sweetness, well-integrated fruity and toasty notes, and a long, warming finish. An intense and enveloping beer, ideal as a meditation beer.
