A Belgian abbey beer with a powerful and complex character, created according to a special recipe by the Grimbergen monks. It has a deep brown color with ruby highlights and a creamy cappuccino-colored head. On the nose, it releases rich aromas of ripe fruit, caramel, plums, honey, sweet spices, and an elegant hint of liquorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with an enveloping malty sweetness, well-integrated fruity and spicy notes, and a warm, persistent, and slightly alcoholic finish. A sumptuous beer, perfect for meditation and special occasions.
