La Trappe Double

A Dutch Trappist beer with an intense, malty character, brewed at Koningshoeven Abbey, the only Trappist abbey in the Netherlands. It features a dark brown color with ruby highlights and a creamy, cappuccino-colored head. On the nose, it releases complex aromas of caramel, dried fruit, plums, spices, and notes of toasted malt. On the palate, it is smooth and enveloping, with a medium-full body, elegant malty sweetness, fruity notes, and a warm, lingering finish reminiscent of toasted notes. A balanced and profound dubbel, combining monastic tradition and great refinement.
