Marton's Owd Rodger

A historic English strong ale, one of the oldest beers produced by Marston's, known for its intense and enveloping character. It has a dark mahogany color with ruby highlights and a creamy hazelnut-colored head. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of toasted malt, caramel, molasses, dried plums, brandied fruit, and light spicy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with a rich malty sweetness, evident alcoholic warmth, and a long, lingering finish. A meditation beer that embodies the English brewing tradition.
