Ingredients
- 75 cl Red Port Wine
- 30 cl Water
- 80 gr sugar
- 1 Lemon (juice and zest)
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
Preparation
- Pour the water into a saucepan together with the sugar, lemon juice and zest, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Bring slowly to the boil and let simmer for a few minutes
- Add the Port wine and mix without boiling so as not to lose the aroma.
- Strain and serve hot in heat-resistant glasses or punch bowls.
