How to vacuum seal homemade jam jars?

For a safe storage of homemade jam, it is essential to follow a correct procedure when bottling.

After cooking, you need to pour in the still boiling jam inside previously sterilized jars, so as to minimize the presence of bacteria or impurities.

Once filled, the jars must be hermetically sealed with its own lid. Immediately after, it is important turn them upside down and leave them in this position until completely cooled.

This step allows you to create the natural vacuum, which guarantees longer, safer and risk-free preservation, keeping the jam fragrant, genuine and ready to use for several months.
