What are the differences between octopus and octopus?

Il octopus it is a mollusk that can reach up to 3 meters in length and a maximum weight of approximately 25 kg. When its size becomes particularly large, it is commonly called octopus.

Il dormouse, on the other hand, is much smaller: it does not exceed 40 cm in length and reaches a maximum weight of approximately 700 gr.

Another important distinction concerns the tentacles: in the octopus there are two rows of suckers, while in the octopus it is found only a row of suckers, a feature that makes it easily recognizable.

These differences not only determine their appearance and classification, but also influence the consistency of meat and its use in cooking, where the octopus is appreciated for its tenderness and the octopus for its intense flavour.
