Using an electric whisk, beat the eggs, sugar, and a pinch of salt for about 15 minutes (until frothy). Add the sifted flour and vanilla and mix. Pour into a greased 24cm cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes.
