Basic recipe for shortcrust pastry

Flour the pastry board and make a well in the center. Place the softened butter and the remaining ingredients in the center. Quickly knead the dough with your fingertips, without overworking it. Wrap the dough in a damp cloth and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
